We chose to hand-make our books from fabric for two reasons – one to support local families rather than factories in China, and two, because a little water won’t ruin our books like it will a cardboard version.
Books measure 6×8″ and are sewn by a Catholic mama in Ohio. The scenes were drawn specifically to help children see some ‘hidden’ parts of our faith – a Mary garden, with Marian plant names included, a Baptismal font in a soaring church, and a scene showing a priest during the Eucharistic prayer as bread and wine transform into the Body and Blood of Christ. Fabric is cotton, printed in the US.
