Description

Our Catholic faith encompasses so many beautiful locations, traditions, churches, Saint stories, and more.  The Wanderlust Catholic will bring one of these treasures to life every month.
Beautifully hand-lettered and illustrated, and just $6 a month, each letter will surprise, delight, and instruct your family.

Each letter will arrive in an embossed oversized gray envelope.  Inside, your family will find a professionally printed letter from Bona Therese, a fictional explorer named after St. Bona (patron of pilgrims) and St. Therese of the Child Jesus (patron of missionaries).  Bona’s travels will open the treasury of the Catholic faith for your family!  Each month also includes a ‘bonus’ – maybe a sticker, a bookmark, or a coloring page – as well as access to a resources webpage with an audio recording of the letter.

Subscription renews on the 5th of the month and letters will ship by the 15th of each month.
To better serve you, we now ship letters throughout the month for new subscribers!  Expect your letter to ship within a week (slightly longer at the beginning of the month)!  Letters are shipped via stamped First Class mail, with no tracking.  International shipping is available at a very low additional cost.  Please contact us if you do not receive your letter; we are happy to ship a replacement.

I just HAVE to tell you how much fun we had with our Wanderlust Catholic letter this month! When I went out to check the mail, I noticed the distinct gray envelope, so I took out the boring junk mail and left this sweet surprise for my girls to discover. They sat down on the front step to tear the envelope open and were delighted to see that this month’s package included a sweet surprise! The girls traveled to Our Lady of Perpetual Help in the Philippines in their imaginations, gazing wistfully at the beautiful illustrations as I read them the letter from their “friend,” Bona Therese. I loved the fusion of the religious and cultural experiences packed into the letter. I’ve been wanting to take the kids on pilgrimage, but at their young ages there are so many challenges that hold us back. I love that the Wanderlust Catholic letters can help us go on pilgrimage in our imaginations until we’re ready to go for real. Thank you, Elayne for this beautiful adventure!

This subscription is so much more than I could have hoped for. We anxiously await our monthly letter from Bona Therese! The beautiful watercolor paintings, the fun activities, and the travelogue with a Catholic bent. It is the best subscription we have ever signed up for.

    Great education for the kids

I loved the Wanderlust envelopes. But my kids seemed to be less interested over time. Maybe if I involved them in it more by looking up websites about the locations, they’d enjoy it more. They liked the crafts or little items in the envelopes, usually.

What a delight my children have to receive a special letter written to them each month about their Faith. From the embossed seal, to the vellum letter with artwork sketches of history to the exciting monthly surprise inside, it is well worth the wait!
