I’ve gotten many questions about restocking these lovely totes. They’ve been hit by supply issues, so I tried a new option. I love that they’re organic cotton, but they turned out to be a much thinner fabric than I was hoping for. Still great, just not the rugged canvas I usually use.

We’re finishing the Bible IN (more than) A Year. Did it take 16 months? Yes. But we stuck with it. We continued to make it a priority. And we’ve learned a lot. This quote recently stuck out to me - this reminder to *test* what I see and hear. Not to believe naively, but to sift through for wisdom that leads me closer to God. ‘Influencer culture’ in the Catholic world has been a major discussion lately. But ultimately it falls on each of us to test everything - and retain what is good.

We hosted Easter lunch, which I love because we get to combine spring cleaning and having family over. It was a lot of work and a joy and too much sugar.

Me, questioning all my life choices…

I’m reading Pray for Us, by @mhunterkilmer . It’s so good. I know I’m called to be a saint. And this book is walking me through the struggles of tons of Saints, giving me blueprints for how they overcame their struggles. So, now I find myself looking at a struggle, somewhere I’ve failed, and thinking about it with an eternal (heavenly) perspective - “God, how are we going to turn this into something that helps me grow closer to you?”

I got frustrated with the kids. Again. Instead of beating myself up, I’m thinking about heroically overcoming this. How, if I start small today, maybe one day my kids will say of me, “She had a lot of feelings, but she always chose love.” Mmm so many thoughts. My Lenten plan to focus on spiritual reading is ✅ so far ❤️
